COMMITTEE OPPORTUNITIES (Please express interest as we define committees for FY25-26)

Communications Committee (Open for a Co-Chair with Kristina Abrams): Oversees the website, our LinkedIn page, social events, educational CEU presentations and outreach to strategic industry alliances; there are many opportunities if you’d like to be involved without being a chair!

Newsletter Committee (Debra Domiguez is Chair): Collects input, edits, formats and publishes the quarterly newsletter.

Finance Committee (Treasurer is Chair): Develops and oversees the annual budget.

Scholarship Committee (Open for Chair): Leads the selection process for scholarship recipients (students and young professionals in the Architectural, Construction and Engineering disciplines)

By-law Review Committee (Open for a Chair): Oversees the annual January review of our By-laws.

Nominating Committee (Vice President is Chair): Recruits board members for next fiscal year and develops the ballot. Nomination efforts are greater in Q1.

Outstanding Chapter Commendation Awards (Open for a Chair): Tracks the chapter’s progress toward meeting specific metrics defined by CSI National intended to evaluate Chapter success. Submission is once annually in July.
